The 2022 Nobel Prize winners have been announced this week. The awards are given out in 4 categories : Literature, Physics, Physiology or Medicine, and Chemistry. On top of that there is the Nobel peace prize and a special prize for Economics. You can trace the roots of practically all of these fields to Greece and key figures like Homer, Aristotle, Hippocrates, Galen and Democritus, considered the fathers of their respective fields.

For those of you who follow us regularly, either on our blog or Instagram, you will have seen that we regularly post about them and others who have earned the title “Father” of their respective field. We will be publishing our 2nd book soon (after Greece at the Oscars, which is available on Amazon), and in this book we will go into detail about all the key “Fathers” of history.
