Patch of the Juno (Hera) mission by NASA to discover more about Jupiter (Zeus). Husband and wife reunited.

Hera is one of the most important gods in Greek mythology. She is the wife of Zeus, the queen of the Olympians, and the goddess of marriage, women, and family. She is also the protector of women during childbirth and the patron of monogamy.

Hera was born to the Titan parents Cronus and Rhea, who ruled the world before the Olympian gods. She was swallowed by Cronus along with her siblings, but was freed by Zeus, who became her husband and brother. Hera helped Zeus in his war against Cronus and the Titans, and became the supreme goddess after their victory.

Hera was a loyal and faithful wife, but she had to endure the constant infidelity of Zeus, who had many affairs with other goddesses and mortal women. Hera was notorious for her jealousy and vengeance, which she often unleashed on Zeus’s lovers and illegitimate children. Some of her famous victims include Leto, Io, Europa, Danae, Leda, Semele, Alcmene, and Hercules.

Hera was worshipped as the symbol of marriage, fidelity, motherhood, and domesticity. She was also respected as the queen of the gods, who had authority over the sky, the weather, and the seasons. She could control thunder, lightning, rain, wind, and storms with her scepter and her cuckoo, which were her sacred symbols. She was also associated with the peacock, the cow, and the pomegranate.

Hera had many temples and shrines throughout Greece, but her most famous sanctuary was at Argos, where she was honored as the patron goddess of the city. Her other cult centers include Olympia, Samos, Sparta, and Delos. Her Roman equivalent was Juno, who shared many of her attributes and stories.

Hera is a complex god who represents both the virtues and the flaws of Greek mythology. She is a symbol of love, loyalty, dignity, but also of wrath, envy, and spite. She is revered as the mother of gods and men, but also feared for her cruel and vindictive actions. She is Hera, the queen of the gods and the goddess of marriage in Greek mythology.

In 2011 Nasa launched the Juno (Roman name for Hera) mission to Jupiter(Roman name for Zeus). Recent documentary about what they found so far.
