God of War Ragnarok

God of War Ragnarok has not even been out a week and it’s already breaking records. The launch of God of War Ragnarok had more sales on day 1 than 2018’s God of War had in one week. In all fairness, this time around God of War released on 2 systems (PS4 & PS5), so it had a larger base, but still the new record is impressive.

Considering the 2018’s God of War was the highest selling of the PS4, it is not a complete shock that God of War Ragnarok is doing well. But maybe people could not have expected it to do so well. The Game Awards just released their nominations for game of the year, and God of War was the most nominated game on their list, with 10 nominations. Tied for 2nd most nominated game of the year was Horizon Forbidden West, another game full of references to Greek mythology.

Below you will find IGN’s review of the game, which has been getting stellar reviews across the board. If you are a gamer, this is probably a game you will want to play.
