Ajax win their 20th Dutch Cup!!
Last night Ajax won their 20th Dutch Cup vs Vitesse with a last minute goal, and look set to win the Eredivisie (Dutch league) next month with a 10 point lead in the standings. If you didn’t know already, Ajax is from the Greek myth of Troy, he was the cousin of Achilles. Ajax the football club is one of the greatest clubs in European football (soccer), having won the Champions League 4 times in their history and 34 domestic titles.
They are one of only 4 clubs that have won all UEFA competitions, and although their best days are in the past, recently Ajax has been playing at a level that brings back the memories of the glory days. Watch some videos below to learn more about Ajax:
