Description
Archimedes of Syracuse was an Ancient Greek mathematician, physicist, engineer, inventor and astronomer. One of his most brilliant mathematical discoveries was the derivation of an accurate approximation of pi(π), which is today rounded off to 3.14.
Pi(π) is so important that March 14 is marked worldwide as International Pi day (and as of 2020, it is also International Day of Mathematics). Eureka 3D Puzzles has created the Archimedes Challenge, which are various 3D Puzzles based on works of Archimedes.
