NFL 2024 playoffs as seen by the Greek Gods

The NFL playoffs are about to start! If you have been following us for some time, you will know that every year we look at the teams that are playing from the point of view of the Greek Gods, because every god has a favorite team that they support. This year is no different. Here are the teams the Greek gods are cheering for this year, with a short explanation why.

• Zeus : supports the Philadelphia Eagles because the Eagle is his sacred animal
• Hera : supports the Detroit Lions because the Lion is her sacred animal
• Hades : supports the LA Rams because the Ram is his sacred animal
• Poseidon : supports the Miami Dolphins because the Dolphin is his sacred animal
• Apollo : supports the Baltimore Ravens because the Raven is his sacred animal
• Hephaestus : supports the Pittsburgh Steelers because Pittsburgh is the largest steel producing city in the world, and Hephaestus is a blacksmith!
• Zeus & Poseidon both support the Buffalo Bills and the Houstan Texans because the bull is also sacred for both of them
