Artemis 1 reaches the moon!

Artemis going home..

After years of waiting, Artemis 1 was finally launched on Nov. 16. The most powerful rocket ever launched in history, the launch was an impressive burst of flames unlike any rocket launch ever seen. As you probably know by now, Artemis 1 is just the first of many (more than 9 it seems) missions with the eventual objective to build a base on the moon to then go to Mars.

Artemis 1 is unmanned, and if everything goes well, Artemis 2 will have a crew, and Artemis 3 will land the first woman on the moon. About a week after launch, Artemis 1 has reached the moon and is preparing to go around it to start making the return journey. The video below tells you more about its current status, and the 2nd video summarizes all of the Artemis 1 mission if you need a refresher.
