Hades II Patch 2 Highlights

Just last week Supergiant Games released Early Access Patch 2, which brings exciting changes to the game based on player feedback. Hades II is going to be in Early Access for the rest of 2024 at least, and it will be getting constant patches with new features and updates to improve the game. You can pick up a copy of Hades 2 on Steam or Epic Games, but if you prefer to wait until the final version, that will come out in 2025. The good news is that the game is already in great shape now, you can already pick it up now and then watch it evolve over time as they patch it. Let’s see some of the new features in Patch 2:

  1. Weapon Balance: Supergiant Games has fine-tuned weapon balance, making combat even more satisfying. Expect adjustments to attack speeds, damage output, and special abilities for each weapon.
  2. UI Improvements: Patch 2 introduces new UI icons, enhancing the overall user experience. These visual cues help players navigate menus, track resources, and manage upgrades.
  3. Community-Inspired Changes: Many adjustments were inspired by the community. Supergiant actively listens to player feedback and uses volunteered gameplay data to inform their decisions.
  4. Boon Updates: While Patch 2 focuses on weapons, the next update promises exciting changes to godly boons. These divine blessings significantly impact Melinoë’s abilities and playstyle.
